Established in 2013 as a subsidiary of Combe Market, Unimax Contractors has grown into a reputable and trusted name in the Surinamese construction and earthmoving industry. With a core team of 20 full-time professionals, our workforce can quickly scale up based on the size and complexity of the project.

Our team consists of highly skilled professionals with over 10 years of experience in the construction, earthmoving, and equipment rental industries. From project managers to field operators, each member of our team plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of every project.
Our leadership team, led by Director Radjesh Kalipdewsing, provides strategic direction and ensures that every project aligns with our commitment to quality, safety, and client satisfaction. Radjesh’s extensive industry knowledge and hands-on approach ensure smooth project delivery from start to finish.
Our Operations Supervisor, Alfons van den Berge, oversees the day-to-day activities on-site, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and in line with our high safety standards. With a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach, Alfons ensures that every project runs smoothly, on time, and within budget.
The Maintenance Supervisor, Harsh Kalipdewsing, ensures that all our equipment is properly maintained and fully operational. His team of skilled mechanics and technicians are responsible for keeping our machinery in top condition, ensuring minimal downtime during projects.
At Unimax, safety is our top priority. Our Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Coordinator, Krish Sawalia, ensures that all our projects comply with strict environmental and safety standards. He plays a key role in monitoring safety protocols, conducting risk assessments, and providing training to ensure a safe working environment for our team and clients.
